Hi there,

We've finally shaken off winter (that lump of ice on our driveway refused to melt even though it was 50º) and can get out in the warm, spring weather. It seems to give everyone a new lease on life as we dust off our bikes, strollers, and hamstrings, and put those winter coats away for another year.

It's like that in business too. Even though our clients in warmer climates don't have the winter challenges that we do, the warm weather "frees up the mind" and provides a new energy.

And this means that we are now very busy putting some new strategies into place, which will help to streamline our professional web design business and help provide better service to you, our clients.

This was a project that was a long time coming.

We designed the site around the new marketing materials, integrated brand new, exciting content, added an outstanding Flash animation element to the Home page, and rewrote the copy to be friendlier to visitors and easier to spider by the search engine spiders.

A Business Solution

Tax season is upon us so this was a solution for us.

Up to now, we've been using an accounting software that has been great and has helped us to organize our invoicing and improve our cash flow. But we've just switched to a new accountant who is using a different, more powerful accounting tool.

So we have just switched to QuickBooks, which will not only force us to keep better records and learn the software itself but will allow us to email our quarterly business snapshots to our accountant, adjusting how we do business in order to achieve our annual goals by year-end instead of doing our tax return at year-end and realizing that we should have done something dfferent back in Q2.

A smart decision? We hope so.
